Located close to the historic market town of Ashford, Ashminster House is a modern purpose-built care home with a warm, friendly and inviting atmosphere offering high quality 24-hour nursing and dementia care. It includes all 11,500 registered care homes in the UK that cater exclusively or primarily for older people. There is no charge whatsoever to appear in it, and we welcome a photo and descriptive text to enhance the presentation of your home.
Our unique care options are designed to offer residents an excellent, person-centred experience at our home. Staff are always happy to offer helpful advice if you’re ever unsure of anything and are trained to provide a range of different services to those we support. Our home is equipped with a number of facilities and features that ultimately serve to increase the well-being of everyone living here. Ashford Senior Living is an alternative to nursing homes and assisted living facilities, providing comprehensive and compassionate care in a smaller, home-like setting.

The Care Quality Commission is England's health and social care services regulator. Ashford House is rated good, based on the level of care and safety at the home. Individuals who require 24-hour assistance and care from qualified nurses due to medical conditions and/or personal living needs. This may include people that require intensive rehabilitative care following a stroke, or simply need support using a peg feeding tube. I have been part of the Ashford House team for a long time now and I am enjoying using my skills and experience in nursing to care for the residents.
If you wish you can bring personal belongings including pictures, ornaments, keepsakes or small pieces of furniture to add to homely and familiar environment. We are registered for 28 residents; be they elderly or those suffering from dementia and/or any other health conditions. Here at Ashford House, delivering high quality person-centered care is at the heart of what we do, whilst creating a very relaxing, calming and happy atmosphere for our residents to reside in.

You can sit and dine with other residents in our bright dining room or relax and watch TV in our spacious lounge. There is plenty of space in our green garden where you can sit and enjoy a cup of tea whilst taking in some sunshine. Ashford House is a delightful, detached home set in the peaceful and picturesque village of Rearsby situated in Leicestershire. Life is never dull here at Ashford House Care Centre, our dedicated Activities Coordinator makes sure that there is always something going on.
Great importance is placed in listening to the views and concerns of residents in order to help them overcome anxieties or problems. Access to family and friends is welcome where appropriate and beneficial. The key objective is to assist residents in building the self-confidence that will enable them to live an enjoyable and satisfying life. Situated in the beautiful Surrey village of Stanwell, Ashford House provides expert residential, nursing, respite, dementia as well as young-onset dementia care and services for those under 65. This Barchester Healthcare home boasts an excellent range of facilities, including a selection of gorgeously decorated bedrooms, a sensory garden, spacious lounges and even its own bar.
Residents are very much encouraged to pursue their interests and hobbies, no matter how obscure! Having worked with acute dementia for many years, I know how to run a dementia nursing unit to a high standard, and pass my knowledge on to our staff to ensure every resident is well cared for. EAC Advice is a free, specialist and independent telephone advice service provide by the charity Elderly Accommodation Counsel .
